WAHOO!  The deal I posted last month (HERE – it’s sadly no longer available) about getting a copy of the BluRay/DVD/Digital combo pack of Disney’s Frozen for FREE really worked!  I am happy to report that TopCashBack did come through with their amazing cash back offer and I received my Amazon gift card in the amount of $23.10 last Saturday as promised!

So, this is how my deal went:

• I followed the terms & conditions of the cash back deal precisely as listed and ordered the product advertised on 3/20.
• The cash back amount showed up in my account as “pending” within 48 hours.
• I waited for my order to be ready for store pick-up and went in and completed the transaction.
• After picking up my purchase, the cash back amount changed to “payable” and I was able to go in and request my cash back to be paid via Amazon gift card.
• After a couple of days, I received notification that my payment was ready and I was able to go in and claim my gift card code for Amazon on 4/12!
• So, with the TopCashBack offer I paid $21.56 (the price of the movie online at Walmart + sales tax), was promised cash back of $22 (plus 5% more if I chose the Amazon credit), and received a total of $23.10 in Amazon credit to be used right away!  I basically got a FREE movie combo pack (valued at $44.99!) and made $1.54 to boot!  Thumbs up from me for TopCashBack!

Here are my tips if you are new to TopCashBack:

• After you sign up for an account with TopCashBack, be sure to confirm your account via the email they send you BEFORE purchasing anything!  Make sure you are shopping with an active account!
• Read and follow the cash back offer details very carefully!  Some of the offers require very specific products be purchased, a store pick up, a certain number of items in the online shopping cart when ordering, etc.
• Purchase via PayPal or a credit card just in case a purchase needs to be disputed!
• Hold on to the purchase receipts and don’t open packaging if possible!  I did this to be sure the cash back was actually paid on a deal that I didn’t necessarily need!  If there were problems with the payment, I could simply return the items to the store and not be out anything but my time and maybe a little frustration!
• Keep a watchful eye on emails from TopCashBack!  A lot of mine were sent to SPAM and I had to track things down.
• I cashed out my payment as soon as it was available and applied the Amazon gift card code to my Amazon account right away….just to be safe!
• Make sure you are logging in to your account regularly so that it is not deactivated while you are waiting on cash back deals.
• Know that this company does not have any “live” customer service support.  All correspondence is done via online “claim tickets”.
• If you are not new to TopCashBack and have already claimed an offer, you are not limited to one account per household!  Maybe hubby or somebody else can claim the next great deal!
