I have worked really hard to create the original content on this blog and I am always happy to share ideas or posts written on this blog with other bloggers or websites. I just ask that if you do want to use my ideas on your site, that you use only one picture, and no more than one or two sentences from my post, with a proper link back to this blog. Please do not publish any posts in their entirety on your blog or printed materials. Contact Jaime at BloomWhereHePlantsYou @gmail.com for permission.

I started blogging in 2011 as an outlet to share my frugal tips, money-saving ideas, recipes, homeschool adventures and the like. One thing I learned along the way is that maintaining this site requires a ton of time (and as you can imagine, as a wife, stay-at-home parent, and homeschooler there are already not enough hours in the day) effort, and money.
I have spent countless hours working on posts, searching for deals, connecting with brands, and building up social media with the added expense of a registered domain name, hosting, and a website.
I do not have a “staff” working for me or a team of mommies blogging for me out in the garage. I am not selling binders or videos or classes. I do not have corporate or media outlet sponsors. I do not have a book deal and the Lifetime movie-of-the-week script has yet to be written.
In order for me to continue to offer free content and to compensate for my time and effort, I earn a very small commission through the use of affiliate links. When you click on a link in a post on this blog, or visit a merchant listed in the sidebar and make a purchase, I am compensated. And I thank you. I really do.
