I love Valentine’s Day as a parent. I was never really into it as a kid (except for all the treats you got at school!), but as a parent, I totally dig it.
Valentine’s Day is such a fun holiday to teach your kiddos about “big picture” concepts like love, kindness, giving, friendship, compassion, respect, joy, and faith. It’s basically an extension of Christmas! ♥ And I love that a lot of these craft ideas can be made for Mother’s Day, Grandparent’s Day, or as a gift for Teacher’s Day.
Here are just a few crafts that I am aiming to try this year with The Boy. (To view the complete recipes, directions, and supply lists – simply click on the red titles or the images to be linked to the author’s tutorials.)
If you don’t already have one, Amazon’s got this Wilton Petite Silicone 12 Cavity Heart Pan for a good price- it’ll come in handy for quite a few of these projects!
