Join in the LEGO® Store Monthly Mini Model Build!

Visit your local LEGO Store and kiddos can learn how to build a cool mini model, and take it home – for FREE!  A new model will be available every month and will be specially themed to that month!

LEGO Stores will no longer accept walk ups on the day of the build event.  You must now reserve your child’s spot for the Mini Model Build Event BEFORE you visit the LEGO Store!   To register, go HERE.  

**NEW FOR 2016: The Monthly Mini Model Build will be a LEGO^® VIP exclusive event starting in January 2016. In order to sign up, guests will need a registered VIP email address. Not a VIP? Here are some helpful tips with registering:

My personal experience with this new RSVP system is that while it does limit the chaos that these events once were, they are still crazy packed.  The RSVP slots tend to fill up incredibly fast (I checked on the stores in CA a day after registration last month, and the entire state was at capacity!)  Store associates are now super strict with checking the i.d.’s of the registered parent (yes, the registered parent must be present in order for the child to be able to participate!) and with the age requirements for the child.  There were absolutely no exceptions being made at my local store.

• Registration is on a first come first serve basis.
• Event dates are the first Tuesday and Wednesday of the month, and run every 20 minutes from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
• Space is limited to 120 participants per day.
• You will receive an email reminder with your registration details the week of the building event.
• On the day of the event, you will need to arrive 5 minutes early and bring a valid photo ID matching the name of the parent/guardian on the confirmation page.

Event Terms:

• Quantities are limited and offer is good while supplies last only.
• The mini model must be completely built in store.
• Models are not for sale and cannot be purchased.
• One free per child.
• Due to safety and build experience standards, builders must be between the ages of 6-14 to participate.
