Now through February 29th, Babies ”R” Us and Toys ”R” Us stores nationwide are holding the Great Trade-In Event, providing customers the opportunity to trade-in any used, unsafe, recalled, or unwanted baby gear.

You can trade-in items like:

• cribs
• car seats
• bassinets
• strollers
• travel systems
• play yards
• high chairs
• walkers
• infant swings
• bouncers
• entertainers
• or toddler/twin beds

and in exchange you will get a coupon for a 25% savings on the purchase of any new regular priced baby item, in any of these product categories (exclusions apply).

The Great Trade-in Event places an emphasis on specific baby products, such as cribs and car seats that, due to safety concerns, may not be the best candidates to be handed down or resold. Beyond recalls, certain older and used baby items can be potentially unsafe for a variety of reasons, including damage or lack of compliance with recent advances in product safety standards.

If you are not in the market for new baby gear, you can still take in your old, broken, unwanted, or expired items and be assured they will be properly disposed of at no charge or hassle to you, or you can give the gear to somebody else in need and they can take it in for the 25% trade-in discount.
