Summer is in full swing so that means school supply lists are out!  Even if your kiddos are not headed back to school until September, now is definitely the time to get Back to School shopping started because the sales in July are the best!  Get those lists filled quickly and then just toss the shopping bags in the closet and get back to the summer fun!  😀

Bargains on items like rulers, paper, binders, etc. are amazing this month with many stores pricing as low as 1¢, but for some supply items spending a bit more for quality is the best bet.  There is such a huge difference between top brands, off brands, and store brands.   Brand specific items like Crayola crayons (the wax with other brands clumps and flakes off the paper and is very low in color pigment), Fiskar scissors (nice, clean cuts on thicker art paper), Elmer’s glue (both bottles and sticks have the best “sticking” power and no foul smell), Ticonderoga wood pencils (won’t become lop-sided and worn down in the sharpener), etc. are much higher in quality and will last students longer throughout the school year.
